Kids' Day 2010 ~ Thank You!

Thank you to the community, local organizations and sponsors for supporting the 25th Annual Kids' Day, fire and life safety event on June 5. We had a great time meeting all of you. The sun shone on the thousands of people who attended the event. Kids and families left the event smiling and knowing more or reminded about ways to keep healthy and safe.

Central Kitsap Fire and Rescue is proud to have hosted the 25th Annual Kids' Day in collaboration with local sponsors: Bremerton Firefighters I.A.F.F. Local 437, Brewton-Hight Insurance, The Chiropractors Clinic, Harrison Medical Center, Kitsap Credit Union, Kitsap County Parks and Recreation, Kitsap County Fire Commissioners Association, Kitsap Insurance Professional, Kitsap SUN, Kohl's Department Store, Mary Bridge Children's Hospital & Health Center, Mentor Company, Professional Firefighters of Kitsap County I.A.F.F. Local 2819, and the Washington State Region 1 Fire Council.

Special recognition goes to Albertsons, Chico Towing, Dominos, Eastside Auto Wrecking, and Suburban Propane for their generous contributions towards making Kids' Day 2010 a success and to the Kitsap Sun for partnering to promote the event. Thank you to the more than fifty-five organizations that participated in this year's Kids' Day. CKFR hopes kids fitted with bike helmets and armed with safety tips are able to put them to good use this summer and all throughout the year.
