- Central Kitsap Fire & Rescue has evaluated emergency response data specifically for the Seabeck area. It has been determined that emergency response capabilities and improved service can be achieved with a reduction in the size of the initial design, saving development costs by rebuilding at the current Station 53 location in Seabeck.
- This is possible with the addition of Fire Station 52 at 5328 NW Anderson Hill Rd. and Fire Station 57 at 14500 NW Coho Run. Both stations will be staffed with 24/7 fire and emergency medical personnel.
- A Site Development Activity Permit (SDAP) and building plan have been approved by the Kitsap County Department of Community Development.
- The project went out to bid in May with bids opened on June 26, 2024. A “Limited Notice to Proceed” has been issued to the Braithre Eireannacha LLC., the apparent low bidder. Project sequencing and scheduling is currently underway, we expect the project to begin in August.
